Dr Rico Lee is a postdoctoral research associate at the Brain & Mind Research Institute, and works privately as a psychologist specialising in neuropsychological assessments. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Sydney majoring in psychology and advanced neuroscience, and competed his honours year in cognitive psychology. He later trained in neuropsychology at Macquarie University, and was awarded his PhD in psychology at the end of 2014. His research primarily focuses on better understanding the cognitive architecture of major depression, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia, its longitudinal trajectory and functional implications, as well as developing novel approaches to enhance cognitive and functional recovery. He has published numerous papers in prestigious international journals, including a clinical trial of cognitiveremediation he conducted in first-episode depression and psychosis.
